I thought listmembers might be interested in seeing the first report
on site statistics for PipingDesign.com (the tracking software was
installed just recently on the server...this is not the same thing as
the hit counter on the main page). There's a definite discrepancy
between the main page hit counter total and the Webtrends report, and
I'm looking into resolving that question.
The whole report is too big to post, so I put up only the most basic page. There are broken image files because I didn't upload the graphics. It's here:

For a closer look at site statistics in general, read:
<http://www.WebTrends.com/support/hits_views_sessions.htm>
In other words, don't be too impressed by sites that claim "millions of hits per month". A page with 25 graphic graphic images on it can result in 25 "hits" for one visitor to that page, depending on how the site owner phrases the statement. "Page Views", or "Page Impressions" and "User Sessions" are what to look for.
