Responsibilities include performing basic design assignments under the guidance of other designers within higher classifications. Requires an associate degree in drafting/engineering technology, or equivalent experience in piping design/drafting (one to two years drafting experience). Must have experience in MicroCADAM, CADAM, or AutoCAD. Candidates should be familiar with drafting standards, symbols, nomenclature, engineering terms, and proper use of material, reference books in the specific area of work. Effective communication skills are essential.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Marine or Naval Architecture with 5-10 years experience in thermodynamic/fluid systems design; including flow/pressure drop analysis, heat transfer analysis; heat balance studies and material and component selection. Preferred experience with power plant fluid systems-piping, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and HVAC machinery. Additional requirements are good oral and written skills with MS Office Software experience. Position will provide mechanical engineering support for the Electric Drive program.

Apprentice graduate or Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Production Operations Management, or related discipline. Candidates should have strong project and time management skills. Familiarity with yard maintenance practices and processes preferred. Experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Piping, HVAC or Crane Operations required.
