Mainly because there hasn't been very much discussion over the past (almost) two years. 95% of all the posts in the moderator-only archives are announcements of what's been new at the main site. Even these have been slow in coming lately, as I no longer have the time for very much research and site updates.

Lately there seems to be more activity from the 200+ members, but I still review and approve/deny each message to avoid spamming of the group. That's why you may have to wait more than a few hours to see your message posted to everyone else. I thought pipers would be a more talkative gang, maybe that only applies to off-hours at the pub, though.
