ADDITIONAL DETAILS FOR SPANISH WORK Spanish language experience: Engineering work : Bufete Industrial - Mexico City DF, Mexico Design coordinator Responsible for feasibility studies and coordination with Licensor (Air Products - Houdry) on Pemex project at Veracruz. Oversize equipment and high temperature/pressure systems characterized the project. In this position all day-to-day activities were carried out in Spanish. The job was subsequently shut down for lack of funds during the Mexican economic crisis.

Technicas-Reunidas - Madrid, Spain - Chemical plant for ICI at Algeciras, S.Spain. Piping Designer This project was carried out in 1976-7, with all day-to-day activities in Spanish. Responsible for piping design layout and checking.

Non-Engineering work : Translex Language Institute - Lima, Peru English-As-A-Second-Language teacher. I worked as a language teacher for six months while on extended holiday in Peru, teaching all age groups - including adults - the basics of the English language and conversation.
