RE: CHECK LIST

competent review of the piping design can onlybe done by an expereince piping designer. a checklist would be a little help. we're talking here complaince to the project specification in addition to the requirement of the ASME B31 code. plus the guy who is doing the review should have been involved with fabrication, installation and testing. a lot could have bben missed using a checklist resulting in rework, non-compliance, bad detailing, interefrence, not enough access, improper selection of support and so on.

a checklist can however be develop for a stuggling piping designer.
