Forgive me if this seems basic, but I've seen designers overlook the following causing interference. A 24" elevation difference will allow you to rise or drop vertically with two 90 degree LR elbows for line sizes 8" and below. For 10" and above (assuming you are avoiding the use of short radius elbows) you will need to match a 90 degree LR elbow rolled at 45 degrees with a 45 degree elbow. When you do this be sure to check the clearance to the adjacent piping (including insulation); don't rely on your pipe spacing chart. Received on Sun May 20 12:02:00 2001
