our preference is Flexitallic for the spiral wound gaskets. The PXP refers
to the pressure-temperature of the flange. The unit is either psi or KkPa
for the P and degF or degC for the T. What is show you is the maximum
presuure that the joint can hold without leaking at a given temperature.
This is on the assumption that proper bolt tightening has been done and the
correct gaket has been selected.

Hi Tin, There is a very good source of information on gasketing on the web.
Go to: www.garlock.com then to their product catalog section, then select
"Gasketing-Engineered Gasketing Products". This is a 56 page catalog which
is mostly engineering data. It is also downloadable with PDF format. Hope it
