somehow you've lost me there. The PxT as used in process piping refer to the
pressure-temperature rating of either the flange or the valve. It is not an
equation that follow the law of pV=wRT. Ive have never come across the unit
of Btu apply to a pipe/nozzle or valve joint requiring a gaket.

Let you surf to the web ASME or find text book produce MC Graw for material,
i.e, for gasket asbes sheet (apparent density was 55.5 lb/ft2) and more ..
cemente boards asbestos,etc .
The value of PxT it depending on result of t & k. so you can definite that
temperatrur was .........
and change to SI or BTU.
