The job is in Sri Lanka and I am unsure at this time as to local rules.
I have some Australian codes but was investigating how they do it in other aprts
of the world.

Hi, most states or local municipalities have Plumbling Codes which govern
these requirements. I would suggest looking at your local code. Or I would
be willing to e-mail you an excerpt from the state I reside in, you could
use that as a guide. But I would strongly suggest using your local code -
