Try AWWA standards, they are what the municipalities we work for here in
North Florida use. Standard Number C651-92 is for disinfecting water mains.

Hi, most states or local municipalities have Plumbling Codes which govern
these requirements. I would suggest looking at your local code. Or I would
be willing to e-mail you an excerpt from the state I reside in, you could
use that as a guide. But I would strongly suggest using your local code -
