We'ge got a steam dilution system here at out cracker unit (abb limmus srt III furnace). we've installed about 4 clamps on these system alone. leaks keep appearing only at he elbows very near the weld joint. process has confirm that the flow is ok (velocity has also been verified as meeting our spec). sample taken and pH measured. readings are ok.

Operation can isolate the line in 3 months time, giving me enough to either replace or upgrade the piping system. im thinking of using CRA -corrosion resistan alloy. ive heard bout it in oone of the seminars that ive attended.
