the number of leaks is increasing for our pressure seal valves ( Sella,
raimondi and Rockwell Edwards) . common to the leaks is the early failure of
the gasket sandwich between the bonnet, reatiner ring and valve body.
application is high pressure steam line class 600 and above.valve body and
trim are all ok. wedge is flexible.
we're considering a bolted bonnet with live loading (actually a belville spring washers). anyone has experence with thiss type of valves either as new or retrofit? Received on Thu May 31 03:10:00 2001
