Like Ralph said, one source is Eugene Megyesy manual. You can find there the
Zick method to calculate stresses on saddles.
Another approach is the Tooh and Nash method. There is a very good web site
where you can download a suite of Excel spreadsheets regarding pressure
vessel calculations. Address is www.laurencebrundrett.com . Check it out and
guess youŽll find all your answers
