No - not quite Vegas related. "Cut cards" is a term used by pipe fabrication shops for itemizing all the cut length pieces that are involved in a spool sheet. Other outfits may call it something else, the ones we deal with use this term. When we make isometrics for a job, we actually show the detail that was commonly performed by the shops - a finished spool sheet. We itemize each pipe cut length, material of construction, along with the fittings, valving, weld in instrument components, gaskets, spool numbers and everything else. We also show what is provided by "owner" versus that by the shop. If you don't itemize these pipe pieces someone in the shop will. We let them figure out the actual cut lengthes because of weld gap requirements etc. We do deduct for the gasket allowance.
