piping stress analysis thermal

hi friends

i m mechanical engineer working in a piping field. i m generally involved in design and construction of piping system. but i m new in analysis so any body who is in this field can guide me from basic about fem analysis, flexibilty analysis, cosmos/m software. How to interpreate the result and get the correct answer.
