Hi Friends in our community

I want your opinion on the following.I work on AutoPlant and sometimes am faced with diffcult situations as regards the above terms.I am writing down what I interpret of the said terms

1)PE : I have often been approched by modellers to include say BE , 15 mm   nipples in a spec.According to me you have PE for sizes 40 mm and below and BE for sizes 50 mm and above.

2) BE and BW .I have also been told to add both 50 mm BE and BW components.According to me an BE component is BW (Butt Welded) during fabrication . They are not two different type of end conditions .While BE represents the end condition , BW describes the joining process of BE components.

Thanking in Advance for all the feedback and invaluable opinions.
