yes.
not sure if their would be a difference between the main dist. loop and the branch feed lines.
are you planning to use screwed on the branch lines as well? you never be any better than the material and type on the screwed branch lines.

I have a quick and easy question. We are planning a small retrofit of a compressed air blow-down system and the customer would like to use screwed (NPT) pipe for a distribution line. If he uses 3"NPT for the distribution loop, would he be in compliance with ASME?
