That's not fair friend.
One should not always expect to read experts only. There may be new comers, young graduates and the rich experience of the list members can help them a lot in their work. Here it is not necessary to get so upset by such questions.

Sometimes such simple questions can start a very good discussion.

The answer to a question like this can be

    " Please see text book so and so .... " Or "Please keep in mind following things ...." or "Please see the web site ...."

One who asks simple questions is better than one who never asks.

......why to people keep asking questions like this, if they are asking this sort of thing then I suggest they should not be involved in Piping or even Engineering!!
