Ever notice how many "action" movies/TV shows involve a bad guy vs. good guy shoot-out in some kind of industrial facility that features lots of pumps and piping and stuff?
Also ever notice how fake most of the background looks during these events?
I propose two things:
-the movie guys think that the audience considers industrial locations to be dark, foreboding, mysterious and dangerous -they don't have very good prop people
