One thing I've noticed is that people do not trim replies to this list, which means we ALL get everybody else's previous responses, resulting in everyone else's messages getting ALL the other replies (even though we can all read the previous emails). This clogs up the system and confuses things for readers.

Trim to the point you are addressing.

Here's a good example of trimming to a specific point:
