one pipe system you could consider is that used in dairies. This involves 18 swg tube 316 ss rather than CS pipe. The concept of couplings, valves etc is all geared towards not having crevices where the nasties can grow. Just what you are looking for in terms of reducing contamination.

Individual lines is certainly worth considering. Pigging lines after each batch with solvent/water & air/N2 to leave them empty is good idea.

We have found it to be cost competitive to use SS milk tube vs CS painted pipe.

We built the paint factory for Jotun in Thailand.
