         i would say NO even if there is sufficient margin to carry the load. the reason i raised the question is for two reason.

         1.Some of these pipes are hot and i ve seen cases where the insualtion of the cables have been affected. Pipe leaks (there is not a single plant where pipe do not leak else company like Plidco and Furmanite will not survive) and when they do u dont want them driping on the cable tray.

         2. Give an electrician a Unistrut and a few rod and U-bolt. Man they will run the conduits right below the pipe. Give them a Lindapter clamp, overnight they will isntall the cable trays using the pipe as a support structure.

         But surely, u can use the pipe to support an instrument tubing (again using the Unistrut). Received on Fri Oct 12 08:47:00 2001
