Mott Metallurgical out of Connecticut, USA, is about the most versatile
supplier of sintered metals anywhere, Spargers are a specialty. If you
need only brass, there are many suppliers throughout the world. Stainless
steel is also readily avialable many places (but a lot of them get there
flat sheet from Mott). Mott Metallurgical Corp. Spring Lane Farmington

Subject: [PipingDesign] Micro Bubbles
Hi Forum Members
I need to create tiny air bubbles for a flotation process. I am vaguely aware of three methods of generating these air bubbles.
1. High speed stirrer with air in-feed. 2. Centrifugal pump with air injected into casing 3. Air Sparger
The method I prefer most at the moment is the air sparger, some type of sintered material that "extrudes" tiny bubbles that are swept away by cross flow of the liquid. Can fellow members share their experience in this area and point me to suppliers of this technology.
