RE: Re:(PipingDesign) Information About flexible c onnectors

If it is one time settlement (normally after hydrotesting of tank),then following may be solution

1.The ring mains running around the tank to be supported from tank so that line also move along with tank.

2.The bottom of line shall be at least 175mm (considering 150mm settlement) above the grade so that when line moves down along with tank,line does not touch the grade.

3.The differential settlement between the tank and the line connecting to be considered.

4.Provide a drop out spool at the tie in between tank nozzle/near to nozzle and pipe. Install this spool after settlement of tank.

5.Provide adjustable supports.
