Hi Raj,

I have not clearly understood the question hat you asked. What I understood is as following:
you want to know the value of the pressure (due to internal pressure of pipe) for which the clamp is to be designed.

Are you talking about the pressure generated on the clamp as the result of circumferential strain in the pipe? Well, this effect is much nominal in value. Generally the piping support vendors offer the standard clamps for the piping, we choose the pipe clamps from their catalogues. The clamps are categorized as per the pipe size and operating temperature of pipe.

As the academic interest, you can talk a pipe , say 12"NB 20thk, with a internal pressure of 65 bars and work out the circumferential strain at the pipe.
