im having difficult time visualizing the strainer supported by rods/pipe in 8 different location. is it just a piece of round plate with multiple holes. The rod/pipe presumably is just the one separating/holding the "strainer" from/to the dish head (no perforated cylinder or mesh wire/cloth). is this the arrangement? ive seen wear plate, impingement baffle or vortex breaker but not a strainer permanently fixed to the vessel.
