We are experiencing some erosion problems due to water carrying coke fine particles impinging on pipes and fittings. The pressure of the water is about 250kg/cmsq.velocity of about 9.5 m/s.Material existing is carbon steel sch.160 pipe size 06".We would like to know about suitable metallurgy for the fittings to be used after replacement of the existing ones. This could be a change in base material or lining inside the carbon steel. We wish to avoid additional filters or change the line size or use of long radius bends more than 1.5D.
