Regarding this I know only something (theoretical) , so I am also eager to know
this from experts.
- What kind of supprting arrangement is provided for subsea piping - connecting
two platforms or connecting shore and the platform?
The subsea pipeline (it is not a piping) comprises of two main pipe components,
one the RISER with runs from platform to sea bottom and second is the subsea
pipeline, which runs along the seabed. About the supporting arrangements I am
not capable to give you the reply.
- Is there any site from where one can get oinfo related to Flexible piping?
Coflexip Stena and Wellstream Northsea are the two leading companies. You ca
search for Flexible Pipeline from any search engine. API RP 17J & 17K gives the
recommended practices for Unbonded & bonded flexible pipelines.
