New Flange Leakage Guidelines

With the new flange leakage rules under consideration by the ASME, and with the new flange leakage rules available in the prEN European standard, there is alot available about leakage and the loads on gaskets due to boltup, pressure and flange rotation. We've generated an automated FEA model that plots the load distribution over the gasket surface due to liftoff, moments, pressure and loads, but have only theoretically corellated helium leak rates with those of gases and liquids of more interest. We are looking for sources of information or consultants that could help us conduct tests to verify the accuracy of our analytical models. (A full-scale hydrotest is currently being planned.)
