Geoff, I am intrigued about the Sintaline product, sounds wonderful but having difficulty locating any info' on same. Tyco appear not to have any data on their web site, only reference I could find related to an installation for Sydney Water, where Sintaline was mentioned. Are you able to offer any help on material spec's ratings etc? Look forward to your reply Glenn

I think you could use weld collars with this type of pipe but I would check.
The other approach would be to use thin wall spiral wound stainless steel
with
Victaulic couplings. Try Roladuct, Duraduct or Allduct in Australia. Sorry I
dont have the phone numbers with me. You may need to have double plates at
supports and tees to prevent local buckling. At least you can start with
316
or 321 ss. We have found this material to be cost competitive to painted
carbon
steel . If you do the NPV it works out a lot cheaper than carbon steel if
you
have to repaint every 2-3 years.
