Hi Santosh

assuming you are talking about feedwater piping to a boiler, B31.1 will apply. Have a look at the diagrams showing jurisdiction/responsibility at the start of B31.1 (100.1 "Scope' in my old copy) and it may become clearer.

I am not able to follow from the codes as to whether
