the as-built may be different than what was originally shown on the iso. changes may have been made during the installation necesecistating a change in the run of the pipe. it is possible that some high point may have been creATED ANDobseved by the piping contactor requiring constant drainage during the run. an extra drain point on the grp spool is no big deal and c an be easily effected without much changes on the documentation. if operation dictates that it is necessary then go for it.
revision to the p&id and iso is routine. plant is maintained, debottleneck and upgraded.
