first--there was no Section II part D in 1977. The allowables were provided in the separate construction sections. The best I can do is 1989, but I'd be willing to bet that it hadn't changed since then
The following apply to temperatures up to 650F for Section VIII Div 1 construction.
A-106 A 12 ksi A-106 B 15 ksi A-106 C 17.5 ksi A-105 17.5 ksi
Too many grades for A-234 to write them all down. If you're interested let me know what grade and the temperature.
