how about we run a test if members do checked out the site. one of the links related to piping vibration that appeared in pipingdesign.com is the work by wachel and bates. if the one who posted the thread has at least look up one of the article published by edi then he could have found the published limits for the "velocity". working out a simple math, the vel could have been correlated with the dynamic stress. the technique was actually shown to us by kt troung (again u can find this in paul web site).
