ok that seems reasonable. but then again an assessment has still to
be made using the latest edition of the code to ensure that the
original cont'n code rules provide adequate margin of safety. why?
because the FFS is fairly new thing. The API 579 was just published
Jan 2000.

if youre performing a ffs to level 2 of section 8 or 9, sure
appreciate a little description of the problem youre working. and
without dsiclosing much company secret just a brief of the how its
been.
