In-situ repairing is done by using "Shrink Sleeves" which are manufactured by parties like Raychem ... etc.

Coated Pipe
After WWII, the best available corrosion control coating for piping was coal tar enamel. Today two premium (top-of-the-lne) coating system dominate the market - multiplayer FBE and 3 layer polyolefin coating.

For buried piping, will the above type of coating has any effect in the performance of CP (use in conjuction of .our spec has use the term "as an engineered part of CP systems"). Which of the 2 is the best of the best
How do we repair the coating at the field (normally factory applied) if its possible.
