Subject: [PipingDesign] Hot sustained stresses .

As per Caeser manual for checking of hot sustained stresses only T1 case to prepared & to substracted from operating case at temp. T1 i.e. W+T1+P1. The other method to check hot sustained stress is to off /delete the support at the point of location of lift & check the stresses in sustained case as generated by Caeser by default. Which method is correct??is there any difference in these two methods ??Any Suggestions??

Regards,
Raj..
