I need to specify the material of construction for a knitted wire demister. The duty of the demister is to remove the droplets of sea water from the air at that is blown through it. I have a spare SS316 demister. The temperature is about 60 deg C. Would this material be suitable. Persons with MED plants may be able to ask their desalination engineer what MOC is used in their MED plants.
