Subject: Re: [PipingDesign] MECHANICAL PIGGING OF HEATER LINES
(Document link: Sachin Bapat)
Can any of team members tell me the procedure for mechanical pigging of
heater lines. I am specially interested in
knowing the flow rate / velocity of water jet to be used for pigging of 6"
lines. We are using 6" A335 P11 decoking lines
after elbow reversal for pig launching & recieving . These lines have
spring hangers in them . Do we need to lock these
spring hangers during pigging operation or any other precautions to be
taken during pigging. Please tell me some of companies involved in pigging
business, their websites etc.
Regards
Sachin
