Yeah. What happened was that once CAD became widely used, it was the older crowd that got out of the field whether due to forced retirement (shitcanned 'cause they didn't like the new technology/refused to adapt) or willingly dropped out because they realized that it was too late in life to start to learn "how to do everything" again. Of course, there are exceptions to this, but overall I think that's pretty much a good interpretation.

Big loss for the worldwide piping design community.

Let's see some of the people from IME join this list, assuming they're not too feeble to press keys on a keyboard.
