Re: Contamination in Glycol system

some that i have been involved with deals with the tray gaskets from th drying column, carbon deposit in the isolation valve for the carbonate system and a lot more - the result is on off-spec glycol product (deg, meg and teg). we're using the process from SD. The worse is not the contamination but the introduction of the a large amount of EDC to the the EO system - the result is SCC and the consequence is a damage to the SS pipe from the cycle gas compressor disch piping all the way to the gas-gas exchanger.
