Hello Friends!
I have a question:
Does anybody know if I can use austenitic stainless steel (W.1.4541) for
high pressure oxygen pipe? I know that I can use Copper, but what about
stainless steel? The oxygen pressure is 200 bar, at normal temperature (20
grdC). The oxygen is gas, not liquid. There are any oxygen plant which use
SS for its high pressure piping systems? There are some special rules
(design codes) for oxygen pipe designing?
Thank you in advance,
Dragos
