yes, the first concept you mentioned is right. In my designing of the Check Valve of the Compressor's export, I likely choose the same rate (e.g CL300RF) Valve with different Export's Pressures (e.g 60 deg.C with 2.0MPa or with 2.5MPa), the Breaking Pressures of two services, theoretically speaking, are not same.
Will the manufacture choose the different Breaking-Bressure on the same rate valve?
Are there some mathematic model to simulate the design of Plate weight (e.g BC-SWING type)?
The problem puzzled me for a long time, please help me in this question.
