this was the response when I tried to resource Hydril as you proposed. Couldnt get an answer on a Hydril Distributor after weeks of trying

   Hi Sujianto,

Vibration can be reduced by use of pulsation dampeners on the suction and    discharge. Hydril have software that you can download to determine the size    required or your local Hydril distributor can do it for you.

FRP has some concerns when it comes to vibration as it is a composite material.

Delamination of the gel coat, separation of fibres from the resin substrate    etc.

Algor's Pipepak allows the modelling of FRP and vibration analysis as I sure    Caesar, Pipenet, Triflex and Autopipe do.

Expansion joints are not the way to go at such pressures although reinforced    hoses may give some relief. You have to work out where the vibration is coming    from to determine how you cure it. Is it a fluid structure interaction or a    mechanical vibration from the reciprocating machine parts?

   Geoff Stone

   dear all,

   I have a FRP problem.
we use multistage pump to generate high pressure. The pressure is 2500    psig.
how to void vibration on pipe?
do we use expansion joint to void vibration?    we don't have experiance about calculation of FRP flexible analysis.

   regards,

   Sujianto
