Gents
I need to know a bit more about machine lube systems design.
Theoretical bearing design I am OK with, but more information on
filters/strainers, pumps, piping, hydraulics, jacking,
cooling/heating, deaeration, instrumentation/protection etc etc would
be of considerable help to me.
What am after is one decent reference(or two or so) book(s).
Many mechanical eng books have the usual bits on journal and rollingelement
bearings, but no description of the actual lube systems.
Similarly, the tribology books I have seen deal with the physics of
lubrication, but not the systems.
Can anyone recommend a book on this topic?
Thanks
