API 614 is normally the standard that deals with lube and seal oil
system. For instrumentation/control try API RP 550. Heinz Bloch ha
written a lot of articles dealing with lube system and some has
appeared on machinerylubrication.com. He has a book (over $100) on
Practical Lubrication too.
