You should definitely check the nozzle loading, both in respect to thermal growth and pulsation (pressure) loading. On the thermal growth, you can minimize the effects by bringing the unit up to a reasonable average operating temperature, then shutting down and adjusting supports under the discharge bottles to take vertical load off the cylinders. You can also depressurize, loosen the flange bolts and retorque, to minimize horizontal and axial thermal stresses. This should leave you with only the dynamic pressure load. If the installation was checked with a proper analog or digital analysis, you will have the pressure/pulsation loading available.
