I have been using AFT Impulse for many years and find it extremely user friendly. Also it was prepared by engineers for engineers. It handles Non Newtonian fluids such as paper stock, slurries with Bingham plastic or power law properties, waxy crudes etc.
the dynamic representation of the transient property in time is useful in showing clients the behaviour of the system.
