Dear Sir,
Please find enclosed herewith structure file for your review. You can see it shows correct graphics in rendering, wire frame and line drawing, but wrong orientation in volume plot. However please note that in some of our structure files it shows correct orientation in all views.
Regards,
There was a problem in the graphics where a member that was skewed in the X-Z plane was drawn incorrectly. This has been resolved and will be available in our next release in October. If you want me to review your particular model then please e-mail it to me for my review. It would be helpful if this is done in a reply e-mail instead of a new e-mail. Remember, your structural input file has the .STR file extension. If you used your own units file then please send that as well.

Subject: Structure modelling
Dear Sir,
We are facing problem in structure modelling for composite analysis of piping systems. We have modelled relevant structure exactly as per CAESAR II guidelines. Our main column(user defined Indian Section) strong axis is along X-axis and so we have specified angle as zero. Also we have considered height along the weak axis and width along the strong axis. But when we see the graphics, orientation of the column seems to be incorrect i.e. Our doubt is there any problem in input or whether graphics doesn't have much meaning.
Also we are doing lots of composite analysis here in India and need various Indian Standard Sections for modelling of structure. As Indian sections are not available in CAESAR II we have to define all sections as user defined. We request COADE to create section library for Indian section also which will reduce work for Indian clients. Hope you will look into the matter.
Regards,
