pipeline installtion in deep and shallow waters

I would appreciate if any pipeline engineer has any information, or worked example , or anything that I can use in my thesis regarding the shallow and deep water pipelines, any thing information on D/t ratio (diameter to wall thickness ratio) and so on. best regards
